Got a new paddle

Needed a new paddle, so I checked out Paddlesshop. Picked up a lightweight pickleball paddle. It came pretty fast, I think it was like 5 days. It feels good to play with, not too heavy. The whole process was pretty straightforward. No complaints, it did the job.

Decent wide body paddle

I ordered a wide body paddle a few weeks ago. The website was easy to navigate and placing the order was simple enough. Shipping took about 6 days to get to my address, which was acceptable. The paddle itself feels sturdy, good for the price point. I also picked up some replacement grips, and they fit perfectly. Customer service answered a question I had about paddle weight quickly via email before I bought it. Overall, a smooth experience for my first time buying from them.

Good deal on paddle set

I was looking for a good price on a pickleball paddle set and found one here. The beginner paddle bundle deal was a great saving. I compared prices with a few other sites, and this was the best value for what I needed. Shipping was free on the paddles, which saved me a few bucks too. It felt like a good investment for starting out without spending too much.

Awesome new graphite paddle!

Just got my new graphite pickleball paddle and it's fantastic! The online store was super easy to use. It shipped out fast and arrived in perfect condition. I can't wait to hit the courts with this. Definitely shopping here again for more gear. This paddle is exactly what I needed for my game!

Thinking of getting into pickleball, what's a good starter paddle from here? So many options it's kinda overwhelming.

L Laura Y. 2 months ago

Their beginner bundles are pretty solid. I got one for my sister and she loves it. Comes with balls too.

For a beginner, I'd probably go with one of their lightweight composite paddles. Easy to swing and you don't need anything super fancy yet.

Any deals happening for Father's Day, or should I wait for something else like Black Friday?

L Lisa Hughes 2 months ago

They usually have Father's Day sales, saw one last year. Might not be as big as Black Friday but still decent discounts.

N Noor 2 months ago

I'd check around Father's Day, they often do special promotions then. Black Friday usually has bigger markdowns, especially on older models.

Hey, wondering if anyone knows how long shipping usually takes for a paddle to, say, California? Need it kinda quick.

D Dan 2 months ago

Mine got to Texas in about 5 days, so Cali might be similar. They're pretty quick.

Yeah, I ordered a set of balls once and it took about a week to get to Oregon. Not super fast but not crazy slow either.

Anyone compared Paddlesshop to, like, Total Pickleball or JustPaddles? Prices seem a bit better here sometimes.

T Tara Bennett 2 months ago

Paddlesshop usually focuses more on beginner-friendly gear, so their entry-level stuff might be cheaper. Total Pickleball has a wider range for pros too.

I'd say Paddlesshop is good for starting out. For more high-end, super specific paddles, Total Pickleball or Selkirk might have more options, but for value, Paddlesshop is hard to beat.

Is there a first-time buyer discount or something? Signing up for emails for that newsletter bonus.

D Dana L. 1 month ago

Yep, there's usually a first order discount. I got 10% off when I signed up for their newsletter a while back.

Definitely check your email after signing up for the newsletter, that's where my first purchase code came through.

Are these paddles legit or like, some weird knock-off brand? Price seems almost too good on some of them.

T Troy P. 2 months ago

Nah, they're legit. I got a composite paddle from them last month and it's holding up great. Totally real.

R Rosa 2 months ago

Yeah, Paddlesshop is a real store. They specialize in beginner stuff so maybe that's why prices seem good? Not a scam or anything.

Do they sell paddles that are approved for tournaments? Or just casual play stuff?

S Sarah 2 months ago

Some of their paddles are USAPA approved. You usually have to look at the product description, it'll say if it is.

1

C Chris S. 2 months ago

Yeah, they do. Not all of them, but quite a few are. I bought an elongated graphite one last year that was USAPA legal.

What's their return policy like? In case the paddle doesn't feel right.

S Sophie S. 1 month ago

Returns were super easy for me. Had to send back a paddle that was too heavy, no issues at all. Just followed the instructions on their site.

T Troy Kaur 1 month ago

Yeah, I think you have a decent window to return stuff, as long as it's not used or anything. I'd double check the exact days but it's pretty standard.
